Created in 1973, IWA who was a national exhibition of firearms trade at the beginning has quickly spread beyond the borders of Germany. This event, which has been in a very short time an international fair, has regrouped the Ministry of Defence, accredited visitors and professionals of production and distribution of hunting cartridges and ammunition, outdoor products, functional, sports and shooting clothing. This year IWA Outdoor Classics, realised for the 42th time, has regrouped traders and hunting enthusiasts in Nürnberg Messe.
IWA 2015, with its participants has demonstrated its development compared to previous years. Participation of 1320 exhibitors this year shows the evolution and development of this fair, which was composed of 1 209 exhibitors in 2013. During this exhibition, the organizers has welcomed during the four days of the fair, more than 1320 exhibitors 40,000 visitors from more than 100 countries.
Turkey was presented at the fair by several pioneers; through the presentation of small arms ammunition 9x19mm STERLING, Turac has successfully attracted the attention of visitors.
With a number of exports increasing each year, Turac has presented its many types of hunting cartridges and small arms ammunition and discussed with its old and new customers who came from all over the world.
In addition to Turac, other Turkish leaders of this sector as Atesci Hunting and Sporting Goods, Voltran Ltd., Armsan Shooting Authority, Anatolia Cartridge Industry Co Ltd., also participated in the 2015 IWA.
