TURAC, again, had intensive interest during 13th International Defense Industry Fair IDEF 2017 being held in Istanbul, with the 817 exhibitors from 49 countries.
In addition to Sterling 9x19mm pistol cartridges series, Turac in its magnificent stand exhibited 5.56x45mm and 7.62mm series which are programmed to be in serial production line in 2017, informed the head of Turkish Army General Salih Zeki Çolak, Turkish Gendarmerie Logistic Command Major General Ali ÖZKARA, Turkish Army Logistic Command Brigadier General Sırrı YILMAZ, Military Advisor of Turkish Minister of Defense Brigadier (Rt.) Yücel KARAUZ, Head of Arms Systems Division of Defense Industry Secretariat Erkmen ÖZÇELİK, Head of Technical Service Division of Turkish Ministry of Defense Colonel Mustafa ÜSTÜN, MUSIAD Ankara Vice President Bahattin MERAL, President of POONGSAN Corporation Woo Dong Park and their respective team members and other respective members of Turkish Armed Forces, members of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior, Undersecretaries for Defense Industries, domestic and foreign visitors. Especially the intensive interest to the 7.62x39mm cartridges which will be the first produced in Turkey was more exciting.
